Business Learning Solutions (BLS) was founded in 2005 by Luis, Gil, and Simon Bernardino—three brothers sharing a simple goal: to make learning at work more practical, more fun, and a whole lot more meaningful.
BLS has grown as a training company delivering leadership and management, good governance, P.3 project management and language training to professionals across every corner of the world. What makes us different? It’s not just the decades of experience or the diverse range of clients—it’s our unique style and approach. We’ve worked, travelled, and built this company side by side, combining our strengths and values into something we’re truly proud of. The relationships and contacts we have built over time also provides BLS with leading matter experts and some of the finest trainers in the UK.

Luis Bernardino
Luis is an experienced relationship director, negotiator, communicator and management facilitator. He has worked at senior management in number of different sectors including finance, retail, learning and development both in the public and private sector. Some of the corporates he has worked with include Babcock International, Generali, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, and General Mills. Luis also works as an executive coach and has sat on several different boards. The senior management training delivered has been varied from Presentation Skills to Good Governance for Directors and Entrepreneurs. More recently he has worked as a Senior Associate for the Financial Services Authority and had the responsibility to supervise a number of Asset Managers like Schroders, AXA IM and Royal London.
Gil Bernardino
Gil Bernardino is an experienced teacher and presenter based in the UK. His background includes teaching English as a foreign language to company directors, senior managers, and students of all levels based throughout Europe, the Middle East, and South America. He has also provided training, and consulted in the field of leadership, presentation skills and team building development for the past 25 years. Gil has worked with executive board members and teams, helping improve their language skills, to speak with greater confidence, as well as leadership coaching and development. Throughout his teaching career he has helped his students, both on a one-to-one basis and group level, to be the best they can be through tailored learning, and a very student centric approach.
Simon Bernardino
Simon is an experienced trainer and management development specialist. His background includes teaching to postgraduate level, academic research and corporate business life. Throughout his career Simon has established close partnerships with clients and demonstrated an ability to develop and deliver effective interventions that, with the commitment of clients and their teams, contribute to lasting change. At a strategic level Simon has worked with executive board teams and individuals, helping them translate corporate vision, mission and values into practical actionable objectives, through organisational culture and climate surveying, to leadership coaching and development. In all his activity he seeks to help organisations to get their people from what to how through applied learning.
